It's all about a new day and new adventure or new challenge when it comes to Trevor. This past week he broke his arm while on a Boy Scout camp out. I was home and got the dreaded call. My thought was, well, it could have been worse and my second thought was, anger! You see he just stared football a few weeks ago and Greg is coaching his team. They have had a great time , I think they have both found a fun hobby to do together. After a all night ordeal in the hospital we finally got back to Mesa, where Trevor had an operation and had two rods placed in his left arm. (His writing and eating arm) Not..his throwing arm! The surgery went well and we were blessed to have found a great surgeon. He came home the next day and laid around with out much complaining at all. Always looking on the positive side. He can't wait until he gets him permanent HALF cast. The Doc. says he should get it off in a month and we can take out the rods when we are ready. Through all of this, I was amazed how well he did. He told me as he took his first bath..that he was going to take this broken arm as a NEW challenge! I laughed and said, "You would!" That is exactly how he takes on life. A great example to Greg and I.
PS. When he went back to practice yesterday the boys on his team had a lot of questions. He was happy to walk around and help Greg coach! ha When he got in the car he said...That was painful, watching them play...it was the first I had seen him a little down...but, that lasted all about 5min. he was back the next day cheering them all on!

So sorry to hear about Trevor's broken arm. His dad can surely empathize with him as he had his share of broken parts. He had two arms at once though not as bad as Trevor's I don't think. It was bad enough that I had to write his homework for a couple of months. I love you, Trev. I hope your recovery is short. Love, Nana
Thinking of both of you. What a bummer. Wish I could bring you ice cream. All of us miss you!
Poor Trev. He is such a great kid. I would like some of his positive nature. Hope he heals fast.
