In Denial

I am in denial that all the kids are back to school as of yesterday, even my Sadie Baby. She is in first grade and is LOVING it! I was a little sad..seems kind of weird to me that my babies are all growing up so fast. It is so true when people tell you it goes fast. Tatum is not sure if she is loving 9th grade yet. She has to be at school at 730am and doesn't get home until 5pm. She is doing swimming and says its HARD! Trevor is the big 7th grader, and has been nervous for all about the first day. His locker gave him a little trouble. Savannah is in 5th grade..she is feeling very grown up because she is now, our oldest child in elementary. This picture makes me remember all the great times we had this summer! We are at the Oceanside Harbor. One of our favorite places to get ice cream. Yes, it was chilly that day.

beach,fire,food and friends

We had a bonfire on the beach this year and it was one of our favorite things we did. We had a few of our friends from AZ who were in Cali. the same time, so we met up and planned some fun at the beach. We had a fabulous time and I think we stayed on the beach from about noon until 10 that night. It was definitely the longest time in one day at the beach. We roasted hot dogs and had yummy smores! We played in and out of the water all day. I had to sit and reserve the fire pit all day. Just put it this way, I had the greatest time people watching! What a great laugh I had. We all slept very well that night.

Good times at the beach

It really doesn't get better than this. We had an amazing time in California this year. We spent most of the days at the beach..why not. The weather felt so good and so did the waves! More pictures and posts soon.

Gliding through the water won her a blue

We got a pretty good clip of Sadie at her swimming meet. She was proud of herself! She is having so fun swimming. I am so glad, because at first she did not want to do it. What those blue ribbons will do.

It's coming soon...the beach..where my parents have a 2nd home...one mile from the beach..cool breeze..chilling with the family....best thing they ever did...I think I could live there alll year long. Can't Wait!

pool fun

It is summer and we are in the pool alllll daaaayyyy! All the kids are doing swim team and are absolutely loving it! Yeah I am so glad....summer time fun for sure.
