Going on a Bike Ride

Yesterday was 75 degrees sunny and beautiful. We all had the itch to get out and enjoy the weather. We loaded up the cruisers and Savannah grabbed her roller blades . We headed to the Scottsdale bike path. Lots of people everywhere, enjoying the day. Sadie had her own red bike and kept up with us. Savannah got a little tired on her roller blades...so, every now and then I had to pump her on my bike. It was great fun. The best part .... Lulus cupcakes is right by the path. We had to top off our day with a yummy blonde bombshell, after all we were in need for a little treat. I think we will be doing that again really soon while the weather is so nice. Just wish we would have had our camera for some pictures. We forgot it...bummer . I found this cute picture to get anyone in the mood for some bike riding fun!

Pretty Pink Cake

Because I love cake and I think think pink is pretty...I ran across this pretty pink cake. It looks yummy and made me smile. So, I hope you all have a "pretty Pink Cake Day!"

Day at the Temple

We had a great time walking, talking and taking pictures at the temple! What a beautiful day it was. Is there something about Sunday's that is just more peaceful than any other day. Feeling very blessed to have a Temple just down the street.

Back in the day

I found this picture and loved it. It reminded me of my younger days : High School ,when I took a typing class. Wow, we have come along way since then. I have fond memories of my childhood and going into Everybody Drugstore on Main Street. We used to sit up at the front counter and drink a shake on a hot summer day. It was one of my favorite places to go, along with the public swim pool down the street. Good times that were simple but filled with a lot of love and happiness.

Few More Days

Valentines Day is in a few days...We started making our Valentines yesterday and Sadie got a little tired of signing her name. She is so thrilled for her party. Its so wonderful to see life through her eyes. I heart these days!

My Heart is Full

It is Sunday afternoon and I have had a full heart all day. I have been reflecting a lot on Joseph Smiths life and while reading in the scriptures I ran across this scripture. I wanted to post it...It touched me today.

--Joseph Smith History 1:25--

"So it was with me, I had actually seen a light, and in the midst of that light I saw two personages, and they did in reality speak to me; and though I was hated and persecuted for saying that I had seen a vision, yet it was true; and while they were persecuting me, reviling me, and speaking all manner of evil against me falsely for so saying, I was led to say in my heart: Why persecute me for telling the truth? I have actually seen a vision; and who am I that I can withstand God, or why does the world think to make me deny what I have actually seen? For I had seen a vision; I knew it, and I knew that God knew it, and I could not deny it, neither dared I do it, at least I knew that by so doing I would offend God, and come under condemnation."
