LOng time Friends

We are reconnected! After all these year we got together at Karen Z. house this past Friday night. It has been at least 15 years since I have seen a few of these ladies, but let me tell you it seemed just like 20 years ago back in HS. It was such a delight to sit and visit with them. We got caught up on all kinds of stories about children, husbands, and yes even our health. As you know we are all in our 40+ years, but you know what, it doesn't even seem like it. On far left of the picture is Shelley (makracken) Palmer who is still a fitness expert. She has 7 (yes 7) children. Her and John have been married for 19 years. Next to her is me, and then we come to April Lopez who is married for 12 years. She works full time, has no children but is very interested in adoption. She run 7 miles everyday! Then we have Karen Zaharis next to her. We got together at her home, which is just lovely. She made homemade pizza and it was just divine! She has 6 children and as been married over 20 years. Next is Jeannine Jones who has 3 children and currently lives in Pima County! That's right, she drove 2 hrs that night! She is Awesome and joined the church later after HS. I love it. Then, Lorie Tucker who has 4 Children and has also been married for 20+ yrs. She has ran in 2 ( I said 2) Iron man races and is currently training for her next marathon. These ladies are wonderful! I loved every minute we spent together and we laughed and laughed...Good friends, good times, and fabulous memories!! I love you girls! Ps) We missed our dear friend Leslie Kelley who is living in Vernal Utah. We hope to have another reunion soon when she is in town! Love you Les :)
